I didn’t know that Copenhagen International Fashion Fair has become Europe’s fashion fair no. 1! Almost 1700 brands and 800 exhibitors were presenting at the last fair in februari this year. CIFF is becoming also more populair every season for the Dutch: In a total of 27.634 visitors (still a very small amount) 306 professionals from the Netherlands were attending the fair, which was twice as much as the season before.  The fair takes place in Bella Center, which is located in Copenhagen. I will visit this fair, but also Gallery and Terminal-2 tomorrow but this morning I went to the press presentation of the CIFF fair. 

The press show started with a trendforecasting for summer 2011 by Nelly Rodi. After this interesting presentation a runwayshow was presented from a selection of exhibiting brands that visualised the trendstory even more. This show was very commercial of looks but well styled and presented but my seating was on a spot from which I couldn’t take great pictures.

Before the 4 main designtrends were presented  we laso have been made aware of 4 social trends that also influence our look on fashion and the way we (want to) dress :
